March 7, 2013 I had the pleasure of speaking to all four of Mrs. Toth's classes for a dear friend of mine Angela Stanley who asked me to come and be a part of her unit on Biographies. I shared my story with her class, motivating and inspiring in the process often listening as I spoke. Thinking to myself I can see these young, beautiful, handsome, talented, intelligent STARS of the future and they are listening to my every word. They were all in tune, asking questions, participating and that made me feel so special, made me look back on my life thinking to myself. I HAVE COME so FAR and I have so much to GO. This is only the beginning and the 4 points I had to share were the pointers I received from my elementary school gym teacher at 4 years old. "Baby girl find what you are good at, work really hard at it, never give up and then you will become a star." Here is the video from one of the classes along with some video clips of students who left how they felt about my presentation today. Hey You all.. Just in case you were wondering... Here is the Amazing Mr. B that I talk about in my story. He is in the middle holding my elementary school year book and on the other side is my best friend since kindergarten as well. It is important to stay true to yourself and appreciate the people in your life that love and care for you. Some people will be in your life forever. As for these two gentlemen it has been 25 years and we are still going strong. There are good people in this world so keep on reaching out and eventually you will cross paths with the individual that will help and walk with you throughout life. I was blessed to find mine at 4 years old and I have no regrets. Love you all and keep on Moving in Faith... Ms. Z The hardest part of growth is dealing with yourself, learning who you are, accepting who you are, embracing who you are and loving who you are. Even the most confident people in the world face insecurities, have doubt and experience, pain, struggles and sadness. Know it is how they deal with, overcome and push through that makes them Victorious in Life, Conquerors of obstacles and Successful, Unique, Worthy individuals. No matter what always remember we are a lesson and while we are learning, we are teaching others. The poem below I wrote as I am sharing all of me with you because God makes no mistakes and I am Moving in Faith. It Rains so we can Reign Raindrops falling (swisshhhh drip drop) dripping all over the earth I am dazed, mesmerized, lost yet directed… The dim of the skies, the gloom of the view I am at peace deep within. I’m far from you. The, you called doubt and lack of control Self-sabotage usually follows, but my love is too strong No matter how determined, you I will fight. I will hold back the dagger I shout NO MORE. No more harming the Lord that is deep within me. How can I hate myself the girl in his image. My sins are unworthy, but he said you are my lineage The sight you see are because of my visions Your life is not yours but I respect your decisions Remember through it all Jesus has risen. I can redeem you for you are still my lesson To live for me and walk my unpaved path It is the road less traveled but the one that will last. Forever in his eyes your journey will get better Trust me my dear… I am your Father. I won’t steer you wrong, I will put your soul to rest, Stop and listen your mind is already at ease. Each morning I wake you up, so you can live out my tasks To love of yourself those present and past You are my story, my chance to show the world. That God’s light will shine no matter how dark, gloomy or gray. Reign drops are falling (swisshhhh drip drop) dripping all over the earth All over the earth, because of you are my worth.
